Behold the Man

Behold the Man:

I was told to go and study the Nephi in the book of Helaman (7 – 10) in great detail. Keep reading and studying until I get it.

This man is the Real Deal. This man is a True member of the Church of the Firstborn. This man is a type of Christ.

Notice all of the Blessings and Elections that Nephi received from God due to his faithfulness to the Church of Jesus Christ and due to his loyalty to God the Father, Jesus Christ, and Their Church here on this earth.

Notice that after Nephi had a pile of Callings and Elections made Sure, Nephi continued to work through the Church of Jesus Christ bringing souls to God, bringing souls into the Church of Jesus Christ, and bringing souls to the Celestial Kingdom, even though he was now also a member of the Church of the Firstborn.

After becoming a member of the Church of the Firstborn, Nephi continued to work his miracles, his new mission, and his New Callings through the Church of Jesus Christ in preparation for Christ's Coming. Nephi continued to use the Church of Jesus Christ as the vehicle to bring people to Christ and the Church of the Firstborn. Christ is the Firstborn. The Church of Jesus Christ is designed and meant to lead us to the Firstborn. Nephi knew this to be so.

Nephi was doing and continued to do what his Father told him to do. In this also, Nephi was a type of Christ. After becoming a member of the Church of the Firstborn, Nephi continued to lead people to the Firstborn and to His Church here on this earth, the Church of Jesus Christ.

Do you think that after Nephi had received the Sealing Power that he now had the right and the authority necessary to perform Eternal Marriages or Celestial Marriages? Do you think that Jesus Christ during his mortal ministry had the right and the authority necessary to perform Eternal Marriages or Celestial Marriages?

The Divine Pattern for it all is demonstrated and witnessed in the life of Nephi in the Book of Helaman. Notice all the different Callings and Elections Nephi had made Sure while faithfully working through the Church of Jesus Christ on his way down the path to Godhood and the Celestial Kingdom. After Nephi received some of his Callings and Elections made Sure, notice that Nephi continued to work through the Church of Jesus Christ bringing souls to the Firstborn and the Church of the Firstborn. It's all about bringing the Children of God back into the presence of God and helping them to become like God.

Moses 1: 39:

39 For behold, this is my work and my glory – to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.

We read the words, but do we really understand what they mean and do we fully comprehend the work that is involved? Nephi in the Book of Helaman understood fully what these words mean, and Nephi comprehended in great deal all the work that is required in bringing souls unto God and into His Kingdom or His Church.

The Church of Jesus Christ is the Kingdom of God here on this earth. When the King comes to earth, He will be the King of the Church of Jesus Christ, because He is Jesus Christ and He is the Firstborn.
